The Old Wreck Revue - July 2009
It was really good. There was a nice introduction (Always Look on the Bright Side of Life) and different comedy sketches with Conor saying something funny in between.
The best sketch was the two part plane crash sketch. It was longer than the rest and I really liked the characters being lost for ages when they were right by New York.
Other sketches included: the cockney airlines sketch when they never take off; the recycling bin with “the light” at the end; Miss Sheldon’s poem about the boy who got eaten by a lion; the bus stop sketch where the characters miss the bus, and there was an imagined future sketch where three people remembered the Old Rectory.
It finishes with “Always Look on the Bright Side” again and I thought that it was very well done at the end. It was thought up by the children who played it.
